Pixelotto a failure?

I was disappointed when Alex Tew announced his follow-up idea to milliondollarhomepage earlier this month. I remembered reading that he had something up his sleeve 4/5 months ago. Was this it? I was sure it had been done before.

A friend of mine purchased a block (minimum order) and is receiving an average of 40 visits per day. Is that worth the $200? I don't think so! That could buy some targeted advertising.

So is it a failure? Maybe it’s too early to call. Although the site’s not been active a month I can’t see it picking up – there’s nothing new for the press to ‘buy into’ – Alex is no longer a poor student and it’s hardly a revolutionary idea, just a rehash.

Visit SiteLogic.co.uk for for more reading and an update on pixel lotto.

"Internet as Pixelotto" discourages web developers to be creative!
My Mini-News.com I'm launching may be the better Next Big Thing, - BILLION Dollar Homepage made of IFRAMES only!!!

this beloy guy who has his mini news site is such an annoying saddo.

but maybe he has some use, he could have a televised fight with Tew in Vegas.

so he can buy a new tractor or whatever it is he wants using his bajillion dollar IFRAMES page

maybe he shoudl really go for it and and have a megasquillion dollar home page

    that's show me!

  3. Beloy Says:

Hey, Whoever, you missed the main point: Unlike both Alex Tews' projects, my Mini-News.com aims to assist potential sponsors, - that is, YOU!, - earn the billion, or even the "megasquillion" you were so excited of.

But when "whoevers" make comments without visiting my website i may sound for them annoying, - despite all i'm saying is "Please earn YOUR BILLION!"

Here is a better idea - why not get a proper job?

  5. SandalStore.co.uk Says:

Not a very good idea. Why would advertisers wnat to get clicks from those who only wish to win a competition. Like you said tagetted traffic in the right area will generate value for you.

  6. Jez Says:

The kind of advertisers that want these traffic are…. get rich quick and gambling sites, thats what most of the sites on Pixel Lotto seem to be.

  7. Pixel Lotto » SiteLogic Web Development Says:

[...] Users are clicking because they think they will get some benefit, not because they are interested in a given product. As using the site is tedious it is not suprising that it is not popular with users, zigire.net reports Pixel Lotto generating very little traffic, just 40 visits per day for a $200 block…. [...]
