Gig Lovers Update
Things are really coming together behind the scenes. There's a lot of new things ready - just awaiting finishing touches - that should be added to the site within the next week.
I've always disliked how the 'Gig Details' page is set out. I didn't think [for starters] that there was enough information on there regarding the venue and where it is so I'm now using the Google Maps API to display the venue's whereabouts. My work for the next couple of days will be entering venue information (addresses) for the [goes to check] 3,807 venues in the database. (Oh what fun!)
Other additions to the 'Gig Details' page include a new date display (like I have here on this blog) and Flickr integration - so if there are any photos from a particular gig on Flickr they'll be displayed on the 'Gig Details' page.
Aside from the new 'Gig Details' page I integrated YouTube videos on the band ages last week but have decided to remove them for the time being until I get the new 'Gig Details' page up and running.

yeah google maps integrated into it would be a nice touch..
videos and pictures can only add to the site also..
